WHAT IS EAUHGS?
The East Asian Union of Human Genetics Societies (EAUHGS) is a non-profit organization, comprising persons involved or interested in basic and clinical research of human genetics in the East Asian Region. The membership which include scientists, clinical geneticists, genetic counselors, other medical stuff and students, has steadily increased over the past years and it welcomes members from countries in the East Asian Region.
To promote research in basic and applied human and medical genetics, to ensure high standards in clinical practice and to facilitate contacts between all persons who share these aims, particularly those working in East Asia.
